Join William & Mary Biology Graduate students on Wednesday, 3/27 from 6-8 pm as they present their research for review!

Please join us at the Virginia Beer Company from 6-8pm for our event “A graduate student walks into a bar: Biology edition”. Six of our grad students will be showing off the projects they are working on at William & Mary. You will learn about exciting ongoing research, such as engineering a virus to help combat foodborne illnesses, tracking the spread of a disease decimating bat populations, and the lives of mysterious aquatic fungi. We will begin with short presentations, spend some time mingling and answering questions, then finish off the night with a couple more presentations. Come grab a beer and listen as we share the research going on in your backyard!

Anyone joining us for the event is eligible for the Tribe Thursday draft discount as our thanks for supporting our local grad students. The Wandering Sausage food truck will be on-site, and you can stock up on Half Price Fills To-Go while you enjoy learning about the amazing work being conducted by these W&M grad students.
