On Christmas night, members of the Bellissimo Pizza family were involved in a tragic traffic accident. As they now work to recuperate from the crash — and are unable to open their shop on Mooretown Road — they could use the community’s support more than ever.
Friends of the Micali’s have started an online fundraiser to support them and the Bellissimo team during this time [link below]. On January 1st, VBC will donate 30% of sales to help them reach their goal.
The Taproom opens early at Noon on Monday, January 1st. We will host our friends from Bald Guys Pies [donating 10% of pizza sales on 1/1], who will be cooking with us all day. Plus: a community concert from 2-5 pm performed by VBC’s own Jon Smith (filling in for Brandon Bower) with sound by DJ Kudlz.
For those of us fortunate enough to be able to gather together for beer & pizza on New Year’s Day, we hope that you’ll think of Bellissimo and join us in supporting their family during this season of giving.
