Parking Note:
We work to stage easy-to-follow parking in our lot and we have arranged spillover lots nearby for busy days. Details to help you better get to the beers & cheers are below!
Read below for all you need to plan your trip to the brewery (and for spillover parking options)!
The Virginia Beer Company features its own parking lot located at the brewery (401 2nd Street). Our staff will stage additional parking along the perimeter of the parking lot to help provide on-site spillover parking as well!
PLEASE: NO PARKING ALONG THE REAR ISLAND MEDIAN, THE FOOD TRUCK, OR ENTRANCE/EXIT CURBS.
We want everyone to be safe – if you need to leave your car overnight, you’re welcome to do so! Let us know if you need suggestions for alternate methods to get home safely.
Vehicles that are double parked, parked along the median in the rear, parked in/along the food truck pull-in, or parked along entrance/exit sidewalks will be asked to move and may be subject to towing.
At times the lot can fill up quickly but spillover parking options are available (see below)!
NEXT DOOR PARKING OPTIONS:

NEARBY PARKING OPTIONS:
The shopping center behind Hardees [DO NOT PARK AT HARDEES] by Sherwin-Williams (457 Merrimac Trail):
- If you decide to park here, please be very careful crossing the street.
- Any cars parked at Hardees may be towed.
Around Shorty’s Diner (627 Merrimac Trail):
- Parking available daily after 2 pm.
- If you decide to park here, please be very careful crossing the street.
Other neighboring businesses after they close:
- Varies based on business and posted signage – please look before you park or you may be towed.
If you do end up driving and need to park elsewhere, please be respectful of our neighbors. While they are open to helping us with spillover needs, their spots are for their customers first and foremost!
While we have neighborly relationships with these nearby businesses, The Virginia Beer Company is not responsible for any vehicles parked on another business’s property – this includes towing, the vehicles themselves, and any personal property left in a vehicle.
If you are a local, the use of alternate methods of arrival and carpooling are always appreciated.
There are sidewalks leading in all directions to/from the brewery, and we are an easy walk/ride from downtown Colonial Williamsburg! While our bike racks are not yet installed, we have numerous posts around the facility to use for chaining up your bicycle.
The WATA bus route runs near the brewery and we would also suggest ride share options such as local cab companies, Lyft, and Uber.
Lastly, we want everyone to be safe & smart!
Please be careful when walking through any parking lots or when crossing streets.
Again, you’re welcome to leave a car overnight. We’ll gladly recommend public and alternate means of transportation and want to make sure that your experience with us is a fun and positive one.
We look forward to sharing beers & cheers with you!
