𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨.

Happy Commissioning Week to all who celebrate! One of the reasons we were excited to grow into the brewpub space at 7120 GW Memorial Highway was the custom-built 10 bbl brewhouse that was developed for the property.

At our core, we are The Virginia Beer Company…and any expansion was going to be built around brewing more beer. Our Production Team will soon be brewing on site in Yorktown to complement the recipe development that takes place on our dual 30 bbl & 5 bbl systems in Williamsburg.

Specific to the setup in Yorktown, our Brewmaster is excited to design an in-house Lager program taking advantage of Yorktown’s two 20 bbl stacked Lager tanks. Not only will the beer menu feature flagship favourites such as Free Verse…but we’ll have a rotation of new small batch recipes and a regular selection of easy drinking house Lagers.

Our Brewmaster has been working to steadily bring this system to life. Over the past week, working in lockstep with Deutsche Beverage technicians, 𝗩𝗕𝗖 𝟮.𝟬’s brewhouse is finally ready to be awakened. We expect brewing to commence this month.
