We’ve never been so happy for a place to sit a spell! A place to enjoy a beer. A place to enjoy a bite. A place to enjoy good company. As interior buildout of our Yorktown brewpub comes to a close, we’ve started to fill 7120 GW Memorial Hwy. with the furnishings that will welcome guests to The Kitchen from the Virginia Beer Co. The team from Shapespace has done a wonderful job working to match the soul of the space with the VBC vibe.

🔭 If you’ve driven by recently, you’ve seen some work starting on the exterior of the site as well. We’re still waiting on the final permitting needed from the County to complete the exterior buildout…installation of a retaining wall, fencing, fire pits, a deck, and other features to transform the property into a welcoming space for all to enjoy. But our friends from TSP Lawns and Landscapes, Inc. are getting a head start on plantings & greenspaces to keep things moving!

📈 We’re doing everything we can to get across the finish line and welcome everyone in. We hope to open with the full property [inside & out] ready for unveiling. But at this point we just want to get open! While we can’t control the permitting timeline, we are in a position where we can start estimating an opening timeline. As of today, we’re planning for a grand opening in January.

Give or take, two months from now we should be ready for you! And if we have to have two grand openings for the inside & outside spaces, we’ll just have to have to plan twice the festivities.
