We are working, working, working to get this brewpub ready for y’all! We know (and appreciate) that there’s been a lot of excitement, enthusiasm, and questions about what we’re building and when we’re opening. So while buildout continues in earnest — and we prepare for some pretty significant site work to bring the exterior portions of the property to life — today we thought we would share some concept art of what we’re planning to bring to Yorktown.
We have been working to fully take over the property at 7120 GW Memorial Highway and make it our own. We know we’ve said it before, but there are a ton of moving pieces in this transition — inside buildout, exterior site work, kitchen development, brewhouse commissioning, etc. We want to do this right — and if you take a look through some of this concept art, we think it’s going to be a pretty special place for all to enjoy.
With the help of our design team at Shapespace, we’re working to bring to life a dynamic experience that will serve as a community gathering place. Taking advantage of the warmth of the building’s original design, adding a splash of vibrant colors, and leveraging lots of natural light. We’re getting really excited to get started on the “beer garden” portion too — which includes both a patio bar and the chance to bring in some additional activations to allow for wide open spaces, lawn games, & live music.
We will be brewing in Yorktown (in addition to Williamsburg), but also serving a robust bar menu that includes wine, cider, seltzers, & batch cocktails. And of course, we’re putting a ton of TLC into developing an in-house menu of pub-style fare that feels authentic to our brand while priced to be approachable to our guests.
We will have more buildout photos to share in August. As interior buildout wraps and exterior site work gets rolling, we’ll be getting much closer to formalizing our first brew date — and thus a formal opening timeline (including when we will start to hire for the broader brewpub team).
Fall ’25 is what we’re aiming for right now. Assuming no new delays with materials or remaining construction plans, that’s not too far from here. We are eager to invite everyone in to join us for a a round as soon as possible. “The Kitchen” is coming, Yorktown!
