𝐕𝐁𝐂 𝟐.𝟎 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞! We are so excited to see the future brewpub space at 7120 GW Memorial Highway coming to life. There had been a fair amount of foundation & utility work to get done since we started this project…but now we’re finally on our way to the fun stuff.
BREWERY: Yes, as a brewpub we will be brewing on-site! Our Brewmaster has been working tirelessly to get this building’s custom built 10 bbl brewhouse ready for commissioning with Deutsche Beverage. The Yorktown set-up includes LAGER TANKS too! If all goes well, brewing should commence in September.
KITCHEN + BAR: Brewpubs feature their own kitchen in addition to a brewery, so this space will have an in-house kitchen concept. We’re finalizing our menu concept (Vegan & Gluten-Free options included) and can’t wait to share the details. An in-house kitchen also means we can serve non-beer (which we can’t legally do in Williamsburg as we don’t have a kitchen there)…so the bar concept will also feature cider, wine, batch cocktails, and mocktails & other NA options.
TAPROOM: We’re starting to see the vibe of the concept come out with fresh paint, finished bar tops, and furniture installations. This includes both the inside space, and the covered patio area that features a second bar. The big project ahead is installing dual draft systems for all that good liquid we’ll be pouring!
BEER GARDEN: Exterior site work has commenced – we’ve started clearing & leveling out the grassy areas. Soon you’ll start to see the addition of more greenery, a rear retaining wall, fencing, & beer garden lighting. The outside space will also feature a deck and fire pits, among other activation spaces (eg, for cornhole and live music).
