Virginia Beer Co. to Release Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy to Support the Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg
In celebration of what would have been Kiwanis Shrimp Feast XLI this weekend, on Sunday we’ll be releasing the 2021 edition of Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy Golden Ale.
We’ll be missing our favorite summer fundraiser, but just because the 2021 Kiwanis Shrimp Feast is postponed doesn’t mean we can’t raise a round to all the good work that Kiwanis does in/for the community. Proceeds from the annual release of this craft beer for a cause will help ensure that Kiwanis can still support non-profit organizations and endeavours like Williamsburg Area Meals On Wheels, Bacon Street Youth and Family Services, and the Williamsburg Regional Library Kiwanis Kids Idea Studio.
Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy will be tapped and available in 4-packs to-go for a limited time starting on Sunday, 9/12 at Noon. Join us during the release for local pairings provided by our area’s newest food truck — Chez Ray Mobile — and a beer garden soundtrack by Todd Murray of Sincerely, Iris from 2-5 pm.
Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy…and neither is the work that the Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg does in our neighborhoods. Let’s make it a little easier for them with some much needed beers & cheers!
