🍻 OPERATIONS UPDATE – July 2020
While we do our best to keep the focus on beers & cheers, we also have to do our part to promote the common health of the Commonwealth. As we continue to navigate the pandemic and work through ongoing renovations to our taproom, you may see subtle changes to our service areas in the coming weeks. We will continue to update our website and social media feeds any time the ordering process is changed from the set-up that’s been employed for the past few weeks.
One example is that during the current heatwave, our beer garden bay door will remain closed until the temperatures recede a bit. This means that all guests will once again enter through our front door to approach the ordering station. Per state mandate, everyone (our team included) must be wearing a mask to enter the building, to order beer inside, and to move throughout the space (including to/from restrooms and tables). We can of course take our masks off at our tables to enjoy said beers & cheers!
Our team — from taproom to production to management and everyone between — will always be wearing masks during taproom hours. Regardless of the safety factors, it’s a state mandate. If we don’t follow that simple rule and our community doesn’t help us do so by wearing masks inside too, we could lose our license. We’ve worked very hard to create a safe and comfortable environment over the past months. And we’ve been proud to keep our entire team with us thanks in no small part to your support. So we’re doing everything we can to keep it that way.
If you’re uncomfortable coming inside the taproom for any reason, we offer curbside takeaway service (pre-order cans, bottles, fills, and merch on our website and call us when you’re outside) and local delivery options as well. And kegs are available to-go too! As mentioned, we are here for the beers & cheers! Please visit our website for more details.
Thank you for your support and partnership. Stay safe, be excellent to each other, and cheers from all of us on Second Street!
